The Dacia for Romania Foundation joins The Margareta of Romania Royal Foundation as a sponsor of the 2026 edition of the Young Talents national program – a broad support platform dedicated to talented young artists in the fields of visual arts and classical music. Through this collaboration, the Dacia for Romania Foundation contributes to the artistic training and personal development of the new generation of artists, supporting Romania's cultural future and promoting equal opportunities in access to education and culture.
The national Young Talents program of The Margareta of Romania Royal Foundation offers annual study scholarships, mentoring, and promotion opportunities to young people with exceptional artistic potential from low-income families. Many talented children and youth face a lack of necessary resources to pursue their vocation, and thus Romania loses, year after year, dozens of artists who could become cultural ambassadors for the country.
Scholarship holders are selected from among young people aged between 14 and 24 who study in art and music schools and universities in Romania. Financial limitations often prevent them from perfecting their talent, and the Young Talents program offers them concrete support to follow their artistic path and contribute to the national and global cultural heritage.
By sponsoring the 2026 edition of the Young Talents program, the Dacia for Romania Foundation, sponsored by Automobile Dacia, reaffirms its commitment to facilitating social mobility for individuals who need resources to capitalize on their potential, removing barriers to access to education and culture. Young artists will be supported both in their artistic training and personal development, contributing to the strengthening of a new generation of creators. The selection of scholarship holders for the 2026 edition is currently underway, and pupils and students pursuing studies in the field of classical music or visual arts at vocational education institutions in Romania and the Republic of Moldova can apply until December 3, 2025. About the national Young Talents program
The Margareta of Romania Royal Foundation created a national program in 2009 to support, guide, and promote talented young artists who come from low-income families and need financial support to reach their true potential and express their talent. The program has expanded nationwide and evolved in complexity with the constant support of partner Kaufland Romania. Thus, through 470 scholarships, mentoring and masterclasses, performance training, and the promotion of the artistic act, young artists studying music or visual arts in high schools and universities in Romania have been supported to evolve, express their artistic value, and pursue a successful career in the art world.
