Together we help seniors from all over the country in difficult life situations
We respond promptly to requests addressed by seniors and find resources or solutions for their problems
We facilitate their access to the services they urgently need: home care, social canteen, day center or social polyclinic
We encourage them to return to the community through recreational, cultural, and social activities or in clubs for elderly people
We alleviate the loneliness of the elderly who do not have a social circle or an interlocutor, through regular visits or phone calls.
We provide material help through products or social vouchers to seniors in the most difficult life situations
We encourage those who are still able-bodied to become active again and involve themselves as volunteers for children in community centers
We provide support and equipment for home caregivers and social workers and support NGOs or volunteer networks to deliver food, medicine or shopping to homes.
We organize digital literacy courses to teach them how to connect with family or pay their bills online
We share the holiday spirit through organized menus or meals for lonely elderly people, alongside our volunteers

With 36 years of experience in the social field, The Margareta of Romania Royal Foundation is one of the few non-governmental organizations running programs dedicated to seniors in Romania. Over time, we have created various solutions aimed at improving their lives, alleviating loneliness, preventing social isolation, or creating opportunities for an active life. The Foundation's programs and campaigns include the For Our Seniors network, the Elderly Fund, the Generations Centers, and the Elderly's Helpline.
