OBJECTIVE
To provide equal opportunities for 30 talented young artists in classical music and visual arts each year, all from low-income families. Through scholarships, mentorship, and promotional opportunities, the program enables these artists to develop and fully realize their creative potential.
BENEFICIARIES
The program supports students attending arts and music high schools and universities who come from low-income families. Starting with the 2026 generation, scholarships are also open to students enrolled in specialized universities in the Republic of Moldova.
Young artists can apply for a scholarship in December of each year, following the selection announcement published on the official website, www.fundatiaregala.ro. The selection process consists of two stages: a social-economic assessment based on the application file and an artistic evaluation of the candidates by a specialized jury.
IMPACT AND RECOGNITION
Dozens of former scholarship recipients are now established artists and musicians, exhibitors and award winners at national and international competitions.
Young Talents was recognized as “The Best Art and Culture Program in Romania” at the Civil Society Gala in 2013, 2015, and 2019.
