The Young Talents 360 Educational Platform – a new resource for pupils, students, and teachers in vocational high schools and universities
The Margareta of Romania Royal Foundation is launching the tt360.ro platform as a component of the Young Talents program. The goal is to provide useful and relevant information for those at the beginning of an artistic career, specifically pupils and students studying at art and music high schools or universities nationwide.
Young musicians and visual artists enrolled in the Young Talents national program benefit from mentorships and masterclasses held by artists and cultural figures with vast international experience. Through the tt360.ro platform, this expertise is offered to students across the country, who now have free access to inspirational materials, advice, and experiences shared by mentors from the Young Talents program. The first video materials were created with pianist Verona Maier and conductor Tiberiu Soare; these will be followed by shared experiences from other personalities in the fields of classical music and visual arts.
In honest and informal interviews, the mentors address topics of interest for young artists, designed to introduce them to the beauty and challenges of the artistic world while helping them develop as future artists. These inspirational videos are based on a wealth of experience accumulated on stages and in national and international projects—expertise the mentors are eager to pass on to those who need guidance at the start of their careers.
Verona Maier, University Professor and Vice-Rector at the National University of Music in Bucharest, mentor of the Young Talents program, and member of the jury that selects the program’s scholars annually, has an extensive artistic career. Her background includes numerous concerts and recitals held in Romania and throughout Europe, participation in international festivals, juries, and masterclasses. Through the tt360.ro platform, she shares her views on chamber music, the importance of participating in school competitions and olympiads, and the condition of the musician.
Tiberiu Soare, Doctor of Music and Associate Professor at the National University of Music Bucharest (Faculty of Composition, Musicology, and Music Pedagogy), frequently collaborates with the main Symphony Orchestras and Opera Houses in Romania and numerous prestigious international ensembles. He is one of the most important contemporary Romanian conductors. A mentor for over 8 years in the Young Talents program, Tiberiu Soare has contributed to expanding and diversifying its activities by holding pro-bono masterclasses and concerts for young musicians and by founding, in 2014, the Orchestra of The Margareta of Romania Royal Foundation. On the tt360.ro platform, Tiberiu Soare speaks with passion about the profession of conducting, the role of a conductor, and the particularities of orchestras and conducting schools.

About the Young Talents Program
The national Young Talents program debuted in 2008 with the goal of supporting and promoting talented young artists from modest families who need financial support to reach their true potential and express their talent. What differentiates the Young Talents program from other scholarship projects is its holistic approach, focusing on the development and affirmation of these emerging artists, not just on financial aid. In addition to scholarships, the youth receive guidance from valuable mentors, training through masterclasses, and promotion opportunities. Throughout 13 years of activity, this program has awarded 350 study scholarships, organized 450 recitals, concerts, and exhibitions, provided 140 national and international masterclasses, and earned 175 awards at national and international competitions.
